Cinnamon Scones

Scone in a cast iron skillet.

Soft, sweet, and a little nutty, these scones are topped with a cinnamon glaze that makes them totally irresistible. Perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself.

To a bowl, add:

  • 1 ¾ cup All Purpose Flour

  • ⅓ cup Sugar

  • ¼ tsp. Salt

  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder

  • ½ tsp, Cinnamon

Whisk to combine, then add:

  • 6 Tbsp. melted Butter

  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

  • 1 Egg, beaten

  • ½ cup Milk

Gently stir to moisten the flour mixture, then fold in:

  • ½ cup Butterscotch Chips

  • ¼ cup Pecans

Pour batter onto a parchment-lined 10” griddle pan. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes. Once done top with glaze:

  • 1 ¼ cup Powdered Sugar

  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

  • 2 Tbsp. Milk

Let cool completely. Slice into 6 wedges. Serve & Enjoy!
